We don’t know when a 5.55 patch for Final Fantasy XIV will arrive, but we do know that the patch will come with some exciting new content. One of the new additions to the game will be the new mount that you can obtain when you complete the Al-Iklil raid dungeon in the new zone, Stormblood. That’s right, the elusive Al-Iklil.

There are twenty-eight mounts available as 5.55 patch mounts. All of these mounts can be obtained as random loot from the new Mhaura goblins (available in the patch 5.55) or as a reward for the new raid Mog Garden. You can find a full list of all the mounts in the 5.55 patch notes here .

The recent version update for Final Fantasy XIV has introduced a slew of new mounts that change the way you play the game . Al-iklil is one of those mounts, which is a unique flying mount that looks like a massive insect. To get this mount, you must first complete the quest “The Gentleman’s Ride” and kill the monster, Deinonychus.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.55 brings three new Maunts to the game that players can add to their collection. Two of them are really hard to get, and the third is kind of a consolation prize because it’s not as good as the others. Three new aunts: Al-ikkil, Magic Cardand Deinonychus. If you’re wondering where the new two-seater is, check Al-iklil; the other two are single-seaters, and the requirements to get the Magicked card are among the most difficult in the game. word-image-13414

FFXIV 5.55 Support : How to get Al-iklil

There’s a reason why a lot of attention is paid to maunts in this patch, as the game has a major lack of maunts designed for two or more people. Plus, this model looks really cool. Obtaining Al Iklil, however, is a major undertaking. You must get all field notes in Bozier and related areas, for 50.. They can be obtained by fighting critical battles and duels, completing all quests and completing Castrum, Delubrium and Dalriad. Needless to say, getting Al-iklis is a gamble, but those who follow their-shadowbringer- -relic grind and deal with content related to Bozjan’s southern front will be able to get it without getting caught up in a few trivialities. word-image-13415

FFXIV 5.55 Support : How to get a magic card

The second Muunt to appear in patch 5.55 is the Magic Card, the first real gingerbread at the end of the Triple Triad Staff. The magic card is the reward for the quest titled Adventurer with allcards, located in the golden dish at (x5,0, y6,7). The trick is that this quest is only available if you have collected cards 1 to 312. That’s a lot of cards! Getting a triad card from an NPC can sometimes take too long, so getting this support requires a serious long-term commitment. Perhaps this question is better left to Triple Triad fans. word-image-4900

FFXIV 5.55 Support : How do I get your?

This is the least popular of the three maunts in this patch, and honestly I was wondering when these mobs would be added as maunts, since the old days of A Realm Reborn. I don’t understand why it took so long for these striped (?) raptors to become Maunt, but I’m not going to complain. Deinonich has a chance to be looted from the last chest in Zadnor’s Dalriad, making it incredibly expensive despite being incredibly low-key, as do the Antelope Stag and Antelope Stag Maunts recently introduced with the addition of the Solid Feast. The main difference between this thing and the aforementioned antelope is that this bizarre monster has tiny wings. This is the only trade-in mount in this series, which means you can get it on the market board if you really want it, but the prices were so incredibly high at the time of writing that it’s not worth it. Would you spend 11 million gold pieces on a dænonich? Apparently most people don’t know this either, as only three have been sold on my server’s market board since the patch was released. Of the three maunts included in this patch, Al Iclil is the coolest, and the effort required to get him shouldn’t be too difficult for those who take the time to improve their relic weapon. The Magicked card is nice, and it would certainly look better in purple, but it’s about time Triple Triad collectors got some sort of incentive. That’s it at FFXIV 5.55 mt – hello! Three in a plot is more than we usually have. If you found this guide useful, also check out our other guides for FFXIV on GameSkinny. This week is the last week of the Summer Event.
