The NBA is just one of the many sports leagues that have adopted new technologies to improve their games. With a number of teams using virtual reality, blockchain could help make the experience more immersive and interactive for fans.
The cavs nation is a blog that talks about the Cleveland Cavaliers. It has been around since 2011, and it has an average of 4 million visitors every month.
Some NBA players have a lot of clout, and we should all pay attention when they speak.
Stephen Curry has become one of those stars thanks to his success with the Golden State Warriors.
Curry has established himself as one of the best guards in NBA history, so whatever he says about the game should be taken carefully. And it seems that the Warriors icon is smitten with the performance of a youthful guard. Curry reportedly likes the way Cleveland Cavaliers player Darius Garland plays the game and has even sought out to him, according to a recent story.
Having someone like Curry take an interest in you is obviously beneficial to Garland, but a relationship with the two-time MVP may also be beneficial to his career.

Curry reportedly like Garland’s game, according to longtime NBA writer Jackie MacMullan, who recently featured on The Bill Simmons Podcast.
In reaction to Simmons’ claim that he and ESPN writer Zach Lowe “secretly adore” the Cavs, MacMullan spoke about an intriguing discussion she had with Curry.
“I spoke with Steph Curry a few weeks ago for a project I’m working on for The Ringer… I was asking him about any young players he may have contacted. On the Sept. 22 program, MacMullan remarked, “And guess who he said: Darius Garland.” “… He is a huge fan of Darius Garland. A great deal, a great deal, a great deal. He believes the child is going to be a huge success.”
Clearly, MacMullan didn’t go into detail about Curry’s interactions with Garland. It might have been a simple text message. However, if Steph can form any sort of bond with the young guard — who has been underappreciated due to his location in Cleveland — it may pay off handsomely for the Cavs star.
The Cleveland Cavaliers’ Darius Garland improved in 2020-21.
After only playing in five games at Vanderbilt due to injury, the Cavs chose Garland with the No. 5 overall selection in the 2019 NBA Draft. In those games, he averaged 16.2 points while shooting 47.8% from 3-point range.
Garland then had a good rookie season with the Cavs, although he needed some time to adjust to the NBA.
He had an awful 38.2 percent shooting percentage in his first 28 games, averaging only 10.9 points and 3.1 assists. Garland averaged 13.6 points and 4.6 assists per game in his last 31 games of the season, which were cut short due to COVID-19, and he increased his shooting percentage to 41.5 percent. 12.3 points, 3.9 assists, and a 40.1 percent shooting percentage were his final rookie statistics.
Garland’s game, on the other hand, improved dramatically in his second year. With Cleveland, he averaged 17.4 points and 6.1 assists per game, proving to be the go-to guy for him and fellow rookie Cavs guard Collin Sexton. Garland also increased his 3-point shooting from 35.5 percent to 39.5 percent by shooting 45.1 percent from the field.
Overall, the former Vandy standout demonstrated why his game is so exciting to watch. And if he and Stephen Curry develop some kind of bond, he can improve even more.

We may have a new star on our hands if Curry’s understanding of how to be a successful guard can rub off on Garland in any way.
Curry, like Garland, progressed dramatically throughout his first few seasons. Curry became one of the top players in the league in 2012-13 after averaging 17.5 points and 5.8 assists in his first three seasons (he only played in 26 games his third season). In 2009, the No. 7 overall selection averaged 22.9 points and 6.9 assists per game. In addition, he upped his 3-point attempts from less than 5.0 per game to more than 7.5 per game. Since then, Curry hasn’t taken less than 7.7 long-range shots a game.
Seven-time All-Star, two-time NBA MVP, and three-time NBA champion, the Warriors icon has done it all. He has also twice led the NBA in scoring, averaging 32.0 points last season, and is second in NBA history with 2,832 3-pointers made.
No, Garland isn’t going to be the next Curry. However, if they develop a deep bond and the young guard can absorb any of Steph’s basketball brilliance, he has the potential to become a “flat-out star,” as MacMullan put it.
