The Arizona Cardinals clinched a spot in the NFL Playoffs by defeating their division rival, The Los Angeles Rams. Capping off an exciting game was when Josh Rosen hit David Johnson with a touchdown pass where he ran into his own end zone for six points. For Arizona fans and players alike, it is finally time to look forward to what’s next after two decades of disappointment.
The “nfl playoff picture” is a graphic that shows the current standings for each team in the NFL. The Cardinals clinched a spot in the playoffs this week by beating the Rams.
The Arizona Cardinals are in excellent shape coming into the last three weeks of the season, despite a recent slowdown that has seen them drop two in a row. The Cardinals, led by MVP contender Kyler Murray, are on the verge of making their first playoff appearance since 2015.
Arizona has had a long trip back to significance. However, a couple of key outcomes for the Cardinals this weekend (Week 16) would guarantee them a playoff berth.
The Cardinals may easily beat or tie the Colts in their game.
Through 14 weeks, the NFL’s highest turnover differential has been: 1.Colts (14 points)
Leaders in points scored as a result of interceptions in the NFL: 1.Colts (122 points) 2.Dallas Cowboys 98 3.Cardinals (95 points)

The Cardinals have a couple options for securing their spot in the NFC playoffs this weekend. The simplest option, though, is for them to win their Week 16 game against the Indianapolis Colts. A tie would also ensure them a playoff berth, but a victory would surely improve their rankings.
While controlling your own destiny is an ideal situation for any NFL team, the Cardinals have a unique challenge in this regard due to their level of opponent. Following a stunning Week 15 victory against the New England Patriots, the Indianapolis Colts are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. Jonathan Taylor, the running back, has pushed his way into the MVP debate, quarterback Carson Wentz was just selected a Pro Bowl alternate, and the defense is beginning to play at a high level.
The game will be held in Arizona, which will benefit the Cardinals. They will, however, need to bring their A-game to come away with a win/tie and a playoff spot.
The 49ers’ defeat was devastating.
This week, the Tennessee Titans defeated the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football, and it was a huge win for the Cardinals.
Arizona now has three more options to secure a playoff berth as a result of the setback. If the Philadelphia Eagles, Minnesota Vikings, or New Orleans Saints lose or tie this weekend, the Cardinals will clinch a postseason berth.
It is improbable that the Eagles will lose a vital game against the Jake Fromm-led New York Giants. The Vikings, on the other hand, will meet the Los Angeles Rams, while the Saints will face the Miami Dolphins. Both of these matches are advantageous for the Cardinals and their needs.
The Cardinals should be optimistic.

In the end, the Cardinals’ best plan of action is to defeat the Colts on Christmas Day. By any measure of the imagination, this isn’t a simple job. It would, however, enable them to bypass all of the game-watching while also giving some much-needed momentum after a two-game losing streak.
With that considered, it’s difficult to overstate the significance of the 49ers’ setback to the Cardinals’ playoff chances. It provides them three more options for clinching this weekend. The Cardinals’ game against the Vikings, in particular, seems to be a fascinating matchup.
The Rams have been one of the best teams in the NFL all season, and they are vying for the NFC’s top spot. They’ll most likely arrive prepared to compete against Minnesota.
