'Is It Cold in Green Bay?'

When you hear the name Aaron Rodgers, what comes to mind first? The answer is simple: he is a Green Bay Packers legend.

For the last 17 seasons, the future Hall of Fame quarterback has worn green and yellow. Rodgers has nine Pro Bowl appearances, three NFL MVP awards, and a Super Bowl ring to his name.

Rodgers maintains his high level of performance in 2021, leading the Packers to the top of the NFC. More than that, Rodgers’ name continues cropping up in discussions about the NFL MVP, and why not?

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers received an encouraging word of confidence from teammate Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Aaron Rodgers is in MVP form, and the Packers are savoring every moment of it.

Rodgers soared to the top of the MVP voting after a dramatic victory against the Baltimore Ravens, in which John Harbaugh called another game-winning two-point convert.

Even with a damaged toe, Rodgers’ stats are amazing. In 13 games, the former Cal standout has passed for 3,487 yards, 30 touchdowns, and just five interceptions.

He missed a game after testing positive for COVID-19, therefore his results were a little lower than expected. He is, nonetheless, deserving of the MVP title once again.

On both sides of the ball, the Packers have been decimated by injuries, but Rodgers hasn’t missed a beat. He’s passed for 13 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the last four games, including three games with more than 300 yards.

Furthermore, Tom Brady’s surprising performance against the New Orleans Saints aided Rodgers’ cause, despite the fact that Rodgers already had a strong MVP case.

After assisting Aaron Rodgers in getting closer to history, Marquez-Valdes Scantling offers him a huge compliment.

Valdes-Scantling couldn’t stop gushing about Rodgers after the Ravens’ win. The Packers mastermind crafted another stunning offensive drive that finished with a touchdown throw to Valdes-Scantling in the fourth quarter.

Rodgers equaled Brett Favre for the most touchdown passes in Green Bay history (442), but the receiver kept the ball (h/t Packers.com’s Wes Hodkiewicz).

“That’s an incredible achievement, and I absolutely kept the football.” That one isn’t going away. I would have given it to him if it had been broken, but that one is mine. That’s a fantastic achievement for him, and I’m honored to be a part of it.”

What an incredible throw and grab by Valdes-Scantling. With Davante Adams locked up all night due to a fantastic Baltimore gameplan, Green Bay’s No. 2 pass-catcher stepped up.

Valdes-Scantling continued to praise Rodgers, even endorsing his quarterback with a big NFL MVP endorsement.

Valdes-response Scantling’s was excellent. “How chilly is it in Green Bay?”

Yes. Yes, it is correct.

There is no other option at this point. Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts and Tom Brady of the New England Patriots each have a case to make. Rodgers, on the other hand, has done remarkable things with significantly fewer weapons and a slew of ailments.

If Rodgers continues to play like the NFL MVP, Green Bay will be a lock for another top seed in the NFC.

With three weeks remaining, the Packers are 11-3. In Week 1, they were defeated by the New Orleans Saints in an odd effort all around. In the game Rodgers missed — and Jordan Love’s first NFL start — the Packers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The other defeat was a three-point loss to the Minnesota Vikings, which they will remember when they meet the Vikings at Lambeau Field on January 2.

If things keep going this way, the Packers will once again have home-field advantage on the Frozen Tundra, forcing opponents to come to them.

Rodgers seems to be on his way to back-to-back MVP awards and, possibly, a Super Bowl appearance. Fasten your seatbelts. The next several weeks will be a roller coaster.
