Micah Parsons is a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, and the most popular player on their roster. He has become an internet sensation with his emoji-filled tweets to NFL players Von Miller and Bobby Wagner

Micah Parsons Uses An Emoji-Filled Tweet to Recruit Von Miller and Bobby Wagner to the Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have had a very interesting few days. The front management kicked off the offseason with the trade of standout wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns.

Dallas continues to focus on constructing a team around Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott. Micah Parsons, the Cowboys’ top linebacker, made a public appeal to recruit Von Miller and Bobby Wagner after the Cowboys suddenly lost out on Randy Gregory.

The Cowboys make a humiliating blunder when it comes to retaining the ball. Gregory, Randy

During the early phases of free agency, the Cowboys concentrated on improving their offensive line.

On Tuesday, the focus moved to the defense with the re-signing of defensive end Randy Gregory to a five-year, $70 million contract. He terminated the deal, however, when the Cowboys made last-minute contract wording revisions to protect the team. Jerry Jones, the team’s owner, is said to be enraged at the deal’s failure.

Gregory, on the other hand, didn’t waste any time in finding a new home, apparently agreeing to join the Denver Broncos. After selecting the Nebraska product with the 60th overall choice in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Cowboys have remained committed to the pass rusher.

The 29-year-old has 85 total tackles, 16.5 sacks, and eight forced fumbles in five seasons with the Cowboys. He’s coming off a season in which he set career highs with 6.0 sacks, 19 total tackles, and three forced fumbles.

Gregory’s decision to leave the Cowboys prompted Micah Parsons, a talented linebacker, to openly pursue two established defensive players to join him.

Von Miller and Bobby Wagner are among the Cowboys’ newcomers, thanks to Micah Parsons.

Because of the Cowboys’ mismanagement of the Gregory issue, the front office is scrambling to fill the vacuum.

Micah Parson, the 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, utilized his enhanced platform to recruit linebackers Von Miller and Bobby Wagner, who are navigating their first free agency experience. Miller has previously hinted at a return to the Broncos, but the arrival of Gregory has effectively eliminated that possibility.

According to NFL Network‘s Jane Slater, Miller is interested in going to Dallas, where he has a home close to the practice facility. Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware spiced up the conversation by voicing that he spoke to the former Super Bowl MVP about joining his former team.

Miller’s response to Ware’s video tweet with emoji eyes has further spotlighted the potential landing spot. The Los Angeles Rams are expected to make a strong push to retain him, but their salary-cap limitations may become an issue.

With nine sacks, 18 tackles for a loss, 14 quarterback hits, and 45 total tackles in 12 games with the Rams, the Pro Bowler would fill a huge need for a pass rusher.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys have had preliminary discussions with Wagner, but nothing has advanced beyond that. With six All-Pro First Team choices and eight Pro Bowl selections, the former Seattle Seahawks great remains one of the game’s top linebackers.

The Cowboys will have to wait and see whether they make a serious attempt to sign any or both of these elite defensive players.

The Cowboys’ dismal playoff loss has raised criticism despite making the playoffs for the first time in three years.

In 2022, Dallas aims to take the next step on the road to the Super Bowl. The front staff has put together a well-balanced group that will compete for another NFC East crown. The Cowboys, on the other hand, are under greater pressure to contend for a title because of Dak Prescott’s enormous deal.

It will take time to see whether Dallas has the roster to get them over another early playoff departure.
