The 2018 World Cup has been a success so far, but one Black Panther fan was left distressed after his team’s loss.

My pride is stronger than my feelings meaning that I will never let anyone bring me down. My pride is a very important part of who I am and it’s what helps me get through the tough times.

On Thursday Night Football, the Denver Broncos were unable to overcome a slew of Cleveland Browns injuries. Despite the absence of Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, and Baker Mayfield, the Browns were victorious. Unfortunately, Von Miller, the Broncos’ premier pass rusher, has been injured.

The Denver defensive star departed the game early due to an ankle injury, just days after issuing the Browns a major warning. Miller, on the other hand, was irritated after having to depart early on Thursday night.

After a severe warning from Von Miller, he confessed.

“I don’t know who the tackle I’m playing against is, but I’m going to murder him,” Broncos OLB Von Miller said to @AricDiLalla before of Thursday night’s game against the wounded Cleveland Browns.

Miller’s caution was crucial going into Thursday night’s matchup, which was a must-win game for both teams. As a result, the Broncos star was not pleased when he was taken out of the game with an ankle injury and expressed his feelings after the defeat (h/t The Athletic’s Nick Kosmider).

“More than anything, my pride aches.” Before this game, I spoke a lot of nonsense. That enmity was just what I was looking for… I felt like I was on my way to doing something significant.”

After sustaining an ankle injury against the Browns, Von Miller is out for the season.

Miller was certainly talking big coming into the game, and with good reason. Miller has 4.5 sacks on the season and has been a nightmare for opposing offensive lines.

Against the Browns, he predicted a handful of sacks, but an ankle injury put a damper on his plans.

Without their stars, the Browns punched the Broncos in the mouth.

Cleveland entered the game with a weakened squad, and immediately before start, Donovan Peoples-Jones was declared out. Despite the absence of Chubb, Hunt, and Mayfield, backup quarterback Case Keenum and starting running back D’Ernest Johnson stole the show and clinched the victory.

On Thursday night, the Browns’ ‘next man up’ strategy paid well, and the Broncos had no response. Keenum had a good game, completing 21 of 33 passes for 199 yards and a score. But it was Johnson’s night, as he astonished the world with 22 carries for 146 yards and a touchdown, as well as two 22-yard receptions.

Teddy Bridgewater and head coach Vic Fangio have been questioned after the Broncos began the season 3-0 and then lost four consecutive games.

Miller has some good news to look forward to.

Miller’s injuries was a major issue at the time. After the game, though, some favorable news surfaced, and all indications — for the time being — point to Miller being ready for Week 8 against the Washington Football Team.

According to a source, #Broncos LB Von Miller was able to escape sustaining a significant injury tonight. X-rays came back negative, and Miller’s knee did not seem to be damaged. A slight ankle sprain is the first diagnosis.

That’s great news for Miller and the Broncos, who need their pass rusher back if they hope to salvage their season.

Denver has games against the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles in the following three weeks before their bye week. It won’t be an easy road, and Fangio’s name has surfaced as a possible replacement following a dismal start to the season, particularly with Bridgewater replacing Drew Lock as the starter.

Miller will need to stay healthy and continue to impose his will on opposing quarterbacks if the Broncos have any hope of turning things around, particularly with a difficult schedule ahead of them.

The “positive and negative effects of pride” is a topic that has been discussed for years. Some people believe that the “positive effects” outweigh the “negative effects”. Others believe that the opposite is true.
