The long-rumored Halo Infinite multiplayer features have finally been confirmed. The much-talked about player-versus-environment mode was unveiled during a Microsoft keynote during its recent E3 2018 press conference.
343 Industries’ new Halo Infinite game is releasing October 2017, and we’ve been sticking to it every step of the way. We’ve been deep diving on the new game’s multiplayer features, and we can reveal a whole bunch of new details for you.

Since the game is coming out in free-to-play format for the holidays, multiplayer will come with a battle pass, but unlike the seasonal battle passes for games like Apex Legends and Call of Duty, players will never lose access to the game after purchase. It appears that future season passes will be available for purchase; however, it is possible that this will mean that players will be able to complete their Battle Pass outside of the season it belongs to. The exact nature of the construction has yet to be determined. As for the combat jump, the real-time intent of the multiplayer means that new content, including additional maps, modes, and customization options, is already in development for post-launch content. Halo Infinite Multiplayer is clearly a game designed for gamers, and elements like cross-play and cross-progression are key to that. 343 is focusing on the Halo community and its role in the ongoing development of Multiplayer . Halo Infinite Multiplayer resembles much of the intense, fun, classic action Halo .
