Last night I played my first Wii U game in history (I don’t have the Wii U but my friend does). The game was called Skyward Sword (or Skyward Sword) and it was the first Zelda game since Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past that I have never played. And so naturally I was very excited to play this game. I was excited to play it because I was very excited to play this game. The holiday season is in full swing. And while I’d love to get back to finishing the game and beating the record for the most number of man-hours spent on a Zelda game (I’m currently at 1,117), my time is limited these days. I don’t want to be a bad sport, so I’m going to soldier on and finish this quest.
This is the second year in a row that I have done a pumpkin soup recipe for Thanksgiving and I have to say it is really simple and tasty. I will be using the recipe for my wife and kids because it is so easy to make and it will also get them in the kitchen. This soup is also a great option if you want to bring something different to your Thanksgiving dinner table.
The Pumpkin Soup mission is one of the first quests you’ll encounter in Skyward Sword HD, and to complete it, you’ll need to locate the Skyward Sword Knight Commander. The problem is figuring out which of the numerous NPCs you encounter in the beginning is the Knight Commander.

Pumpkin Soup Quest in Skyward Sword Knight Commander
Congratulations if you found your way here without beginning the quest! You’ve done a great job.
Go into Pumpkin Landing, which is on the island southeast of Skyloft. A chandelier over the packed table has a spate of Rupees and a Piece of Heart.
Climb the stairwell and slam against the wall until the chandelier falls from the ceiling. The innkeeper screams at you and insists that you help him pay off the debt. You could simply take the heart and go, but it’s worth it to persevere.
When you speak with him again, he assigns you the job of bringing hot pumpkin soup to the Knight Commander.
How to Get an Empty Bottle in Skyward Sword Knight Commander
For this quest, you’ll need at least one empty bottle. Return to Skyloft and talk with the potion vendor in the Bazaar if you don’t already have one. She offers you one for free (but the potions will cost you).

You’ve already talked with the Knight Commander. Eagus is the Knight’s Academy’s sparring master.
Get out of the Lumpy Pumpkin and off the landing as quickly as possible, then summon your Loftwing and begin rising. Although five minutes is plenty of time to reach the Knight Commander, it is a good idea to pick up some additional speed this way.
If your aim is a little off, try shooting for the Knight’s Academy or at the very least the Bazaar as you descend. Run to the sparring hall, enter, and talk with Eagus.
It’s just the first task the Lumpy Pumpkin owner assigns you, but the remainder is well worth your time. You’ll receive another Piece of Heart for paying off your debt, among other things.

I was able to get my hands on the location of the Knight Commander from the Skyward Sword quest. The location of the Knight Commander was a secret and only the game developers knew it.
