In a recent NFL pregame show, Terry Bradshaw was asked about the shift in concussion policy and how it will affect his former league. He responds by firing out a direct shot at NASCAR: “It’s going to get worse over there too.”

The “where is terry bradshaw thursday night football” is a question that many people are asking. Terry Bradshaw, the former quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys and current analyst for Fox Sports, fired a direct shot at NASCAR during his pregame show on Thursday night.

Terry Bradshaw Fires Direct Shot at NASCAR During Fox Pregame Show While Talking About NFL's Latest Shift in COVID Policy

The NFL suffered a heavy punch this week as COVID cases exploded throughout the nation, with more than 100 players testing positive for the virus. The NFL reacted by rescheduling three games. In addition, the NFL and its players’ group reached an agreement on a new set of testing regulations for the balance of the season during discussions.

Terry Bradshaw, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, and his NFL on Fox contemporaries have strong feelings about the NFL’s policy change. The former Pittsburgh Steelers great quarterback addressed the NFL’s recent move while also taking a dig at NASCAR.

A COVID epidemic in the NFL has affected over 100 players and forced three games to be rescheduled.

The NFL has been severely impacted by the recent spike of COVID cases, which has been fast expanding throughout the country.

The COVID list now includes 24 people from Cleveland, including quarterback Baker Mayfield and head coach Kevin Stefanski. The Browns’ game against the Raiders has been rescheduled for Monday night.

The virus struck Washington as well, with more than 20 players testing positive, including the team’s top two quarterbacks. The game versus the Eagles on the road has been postponed until Tuesday night, according to officials.

With 25 players testing positive, the Los Angeles Rams led the league. As a consequence, the NFL postponed the team’s home game against the Seattle Seahawks until Tuesday.

When addressing the League’s regulations relating to the new #COVID19 strand on FOX NFL Sunday this afternoon, Terry Bradshaw threw some shade at @NASCAR:

“It reminds me of #NASCAR.” In the midst of the season, we’re merely altering the regulations.”

With the epidemic threatening to disrupt the season, the NFL met together with the Players Association to discuss future measures. According to Jay Glazer, the NFLPA received feedback from a number of prominent quarterbacks who urged on avoiding cancellations or forfeitures and completing the season.

As a consequence, the parties came to an agreement on a new set of testing guidelines, which include only testing unvaccinated players, players who have symptoms, and anybody in close proximity.

Curt Menefee explained the new standards’ reality simply.

“The basic result is, the less tests we do, the fewer false positives we detect,” Menefee said. “However, to be fair to the league, things have definitely altered all throughout the nation since these restrictions were enacted in August.”

Terry Bradshaw chuckled, “It’s almost like we’re dealing with NASCAR here.” “Because NASCAR is notorious for altering regulations in the midst of a race.” Obviously, no work has been halted. We first believed that because of the way the regulations were written, a team may be shut out and no one would get paid if they had a large number of them. That is no longer the case. I’m relieved to see they were pushed. I’m pleased the football games are on.”

Terry Bradshaw has been connected to NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt’s untimely death.

Terry Bradshaw isn’t the first guy most NASCAR fans think of when they think of NASCAR expertise. But he is correct. The regulating body for stock car racing has been known to make rule changes in the midst of the year.

Most people are also unaware that Bradshaw had a short connection with the great Dale Earnhardt. Fox dispatched the Pro Football Hall of Famer to Florida for a feature with the seven-time Cup Series winner in 2001, just before the Daytona 500.

Earnhardt even took the race’s soon-to-be grand marshal for a few laps around the 2.5-mile track. Bradshaw described the ride of his life to Yahoo! Sports journalist Jay Busbee, who authored a book on Earnhardt.

“We were in the air!” He’s explaining turn 1 and I’m thinking to myself, ‘Oh my God…’ Then we’re approaching turn 3, and he says, ‘There’s going to be a huge bump,’ and we’re right up against the wall, and then we’re flying down pit lane, burning out in the grass. I’m wetting my britches because he’s partying like we just won the Daytona 500!”

Unfortunately, the new relationship between the two sports superstars did not endure. The following day, on the penultimate lap of the race, Earnhardt died. However, their interaction clearly left an effect on the former quarterback, who now follows NASCAR and understands that rule changes in the midst of the season aren’t a huge thing.
