The digital age has arrived in the world of sports memorabilia. Many of sports’ most well-known figures have joined the nonfungible token (NFT) mania that has gripped the industry. Athletes from a variety of sports have teamed together to launch the NFT company. Simon Biles, Tony Hawk, Wayne Gretzky, and Tom Brady are all well-known athletes. Tiger Woods, in collaboration with the NFL’s GOAT, has just joined the ranks of sportsmen selling NFTs.

Brady, along with a number of other professional sportsmen, is on the board of directors of Autograph, a firm that sells NFTs. The majority of the athletes on the site also sell NFTs.
Brady co-founded Autograph with Jason Robins, the CEO of DraftKings. Tony Hawk, Simone Biles, and Naomi Osaka were among the athletes that swiftly followed the Buccaneers quarterback’s example.
Digital collectibles of sporting events and figures are known as NFTs. These digital photo and signature collections may cost anywhere from $12 to hundreds of dollars, but there are also packages that provide fans access to special drops and Discord groups. Prices and access levels vary.

Woods just joined the NFT bandwagon by giving Brady’s firm, Autograph, 10,000 digital photos. Woods was appointed to the Board of Advisors as a result of his contributions. In response to his transfer to Autograph, Woods issued a statement.
The golf veteran is delighted to help usher in a “new era of digital collecting,” according to ESPN. Woods went on to add that he’s excited to work with Autograph and that he’s looking forward to “getting fans closer to my unforgettable sporting memories at an affordable price.”
Woods’ Premiere collection was published on September 21, 2021, by both Autograph and DraftKings. A digitally signed version of it was also released on September 28.
Woods’ collection of 10,000 photographs includes memorable occasions throughout his career. The digital photos will cost $12 to $100, with just 375 available at the $100 price point. In addition, 300 copies with Woods’ autograph will be offered. Those NFTs will cost between $250 and $1500 with the signature.

Other athletes that participate in NFTs
NFTs have also been adopted by a number of other athletes. Brady’s startup, Autograph, is the main NFT marketplace, attracting some of the greatest names in sports from all around the world.

Usain Bolt, the Olympic sprinter, Naomi Osaka, the American tennis player, and Tony Hawk, the legendary skateboarder, have all joined the cause.
There are still some questions about the NFT movement, but with so many sports legends behind it, the sector has a bright future. When it comes to sports legends, they are well-known names.
