On Thursday, Valve announced the Steam Deck, a handheld gaming device that is supposed to let you play Steam games on the go. The invention is not a new concept, but the gizmo has been in development for several years. Early versions were made of brass and wood and only functioned as a controller. The latest version of the Steam Deck was made from stainless steel and adds a number of features, including a touch-sensitive screen that can be used to access Steam’s content library and even a miniaturized Bluetooth keyboard.

Valve unveiled the Steam Deck, a portable, Linux-powered gaming console that utilizes the Steam Controller’s capabilities. The Steam Deck is powered by the same processing unit found in the SteamOS operating system and is designed to play all Steam titles, including Big Picture mode.

After convincing us that Valve was trying to take over the gaming world, they announced that their next console is a portable Steam Machine. This new Steam Box is a super-small system that can play games from both the Steam library and your PC. It can play games from both your Steam library and your PC. This is because the Steam Controller and the Steam Link can be used as gamepads and as a network link, respectively.

Valve’s gaming console rumors have come true, as the company has announced the handheld console Steam Deck, due out in December 2021. Steam deck supplies are open on the 16th. July at 10. PST/1 p.m. EST for a small fee.

Steam Deck is based on Steam’s own operating system and allows you to play the entire Steam library. Valve has promised smooth operation, and IGN reported in an exclusive hands-on test that theStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on the highest parameters with minimal problems.

The Steam Deck will also have a docking station, sold separately, that can be connected to additional display devices such as TVs or monitors.

Finally, Valve has said that Steam Deck will allow any PC application to be downloaded to the console, including other game launchers and non-Steam games. It will certainly be interesting to see how this changes the landscape of PC gaming. The ability to play AAA and indie PC games on the go with reasonable hardware performance will be a breath of fresh air for some.
