The time has come for professional athletes to stop being so serious. Comedy Central is launching a new late-night show on the network, “The Half Hour,” with an all-star line up of comedians that includes Kevin Hart and Mo’Nique in addition to “Daily Show” correspondent Hasan Minhaj, who will host the program.
The “Y’all Should Be on Comedy Central” is a song by comedy group The Lonely Island. It’s about the show “Comedy Central Presents: Stand-up and Deliver”.
The New England Patriots are on a tear right now, and rookie quarterback Mac Jones deserves a lot of credit. Despite being the sixth quarterback selected in the NFL Draft in 2021, the Alabama graduate has performed above expectations. Jones’ style appeals to Pro Bowl safety Tyrann Mathieu, who is weary of the phony fans.
NFL commentators who slept on Patriots quarterback Tom Brady were chastised by the Kansas City Chiefs star.
Safety in the Pro Bowl Tyrann Mathieu slammed Mac Jones’ detractors.

Tyrann Mathieu isn’t a man who speaks in hushed tones. He isn’t afraid to speak what’s on his mind most of the time.
After leading the New England Patriots to a 45-7 win against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10, the two-time Pro Bowler took aim at Mac Jones’ detractors.
On Twitter, Mathieu remarked, “Mac Jones wasn’t popular enough for y’all at first, huh?” “Now you’re all crazy over him.” You guys are hilarious!!! You guys belong on Comedy Central.”
The Honey Badger is plainly annoyed with the “experts” discussing the game.
“Yeah yup,” ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky said, agreeing with the Chiefs’ star.
Jones was still being defended by Mathieu. “People criticized him because he doesn’t throw sidearm or run quickly.” Dude can play quarterback! Period.”
Tyrann Mathieu is a fiery player, and Mac Jones must be relieved that veterans are already paying attention to him.
By far the finest rookie quarterback has been Mac Jones.
Before Mac Jones was selected at No. 15 overall, the New England Patriots selected Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, and Justin Fields as quarterbacks. He’s outplayed them all.
Jones looked to be vying for the starting quarterback spot against Cam Newton. When the Patriots released the veteran, though, it was Mac’s turn.
The former Alabama star didn’t make a name for himself until his outstanding junior season with the Crimson Tide. After a Heisman-worthy season, his draft status surged.
Before the 2021 NFL Draft, ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. noted, “Mac Jones’ accuracy at all levels is off the charts.”
In his first season in New England, Jones has already surpassed expectations. While completing 69 percent of his throws, he has 2,333 yards, 13 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
Early in the regular season, Mac Jones had some issues, but what rookie quarterback hasn’t? Week after week, he’s proved that he has the potential to be a remarkable player in this league.
Jones found himself in an ideal scenario with the Patriots, where he could learn from Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels.
The New England Patriots are the hottest team in the NFL right now.
With Mac Jones as quarterback in 2021, it was unknown what to expect from the New England Patriots. Bill Belichick’s team is reaching its stride at the right moment after beginning 1-3.
The Patriots are presently in second place in the AFC East, behind the Buffalo Bills, with a 6-4 record. Things were already looking well, but their rout of the Cleveland Browns sent a powerful message.
New England has won four games in a row. The Patriots had just pushed the Dallas Cowboys to the brink in overtime the week before.
New England is having a fantastic season on the whole. In the NFL, the offense is rated No. 6. The team of Mac Jones is averaging 27.5 points and 356.2 yards per game.
The Patriots also have the second-best defense in the NFL. Only 17.7 points and 328 yards per game are allowed by the defense.
Right now, the AFC is wide open, and the Patriots are in as strong a position as any to make a run. That’s a real possibility, thanks to Mac Jones’s rise.
