The NFL Draft is a time where the best college football players in the country are selected and given an opportunity to play professionally.

The i can’t get enough of you meaning is a song by the band The Killers. It was released on their album Battle Born.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a 5-1 record this season and are currently in first place in the NFC. Tom Brady is playing like a genuine MVP contender (according to Odds Shark, he now has the fourth-best odds to win the award), and the defense is doing just enough to keep the team’s offense within striking distance at all times.

The Buccaneers are solidly established in the NFC as Super Bowl contenders, with the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals, and Green Bay Packers.

With the NFL trade deadline less than two weeks away, common logic indicates the Buccaneers are seeking to add talent to an already strong squad. While that is likely to happen one way or another, the most of the trade talk in Tampa Bay is focused on one player who may be leaving.

Ronald Jones, a running back with the Buccaneers, has been discussed in trade discussions.

Ronald Jones II, the Buccaneers’ No. 1 running back in 2020, is rapidly becoming an afterthought in Tampa Bay. The former second-round pick’s attempts per game have dropped from 13.7 last year to 5.2 this year, and Bucs head coach Bruce Arians isn’t expecting that to alter very soon.

The Buccaneers’ new No. 1 back is Leonard Fournette, who had a fantastic playoffs with the club last year. Fournette has carried the ball 78 times this season, whereas Jones has only done it 31 times.

Jones’ name is often mentioned in trade speculations, thanks to Fournette’s success as the starting running back and veteran Giovani Bernard’s addition this summer. Tampa Bay seems to have neither a need nor a desire for Jones, making a trade before the deadline a distinct possibility. Why not get a future draft choice in exchange for a guy who is presently on the bench?

Arians, on the other hand, do not agree with this reasoning.

According to Bruce Arians, the Buccaneers will not trade Ronald Jones.

Leonard Fournette, according to Bruce Arians, has “discovered his groove” and isn’t looking back. Ronald Jones’ return to the field is being hampered by Fournette.

As the trade deadline approaches, more and more coaches will be questioned about their players’ futures. Arians is no exception to this fact, having been pressed by the Tampa Bay media to comment on Jones’s situation.

Jones is not for sale, according to Arians.

“None at all,” Arians said emphatically. “It’s a long season, and you can’t have enough excellent backs,” he says, referring to the situation from last year.

It’s straight from the guy himself. Due to the necessity for solid RB depth, Arians and the Buccaneers are resisting a Jones trade.

What does a coach say? Is it a real vote of confidence, or is it a ruse?

When debating whether or not a player is available around the trade deadline, it’s important to remember that head coaches seldom operate in good faith.

Arians may be feigning a desire to retain Jones in order to increase his worth in the league.

If we believe Arians, though, having excellent RB depth is a good reason to retain Jones on the roster, even if he isn’t being utilized properly right now. If Fournette were to go down with an injury, the Buccaneers would instantly turn to Jones as the starting running back.

In the end, only time will tell whether Arians is telling the truth. There is still more than a week before the trade deadline.
